I grew up in the small southern town of Easley, South Carolina. I picked up my first guitar around the age of 7. A few months later my house caught fire and as if it were some kind of odd sign my first guitar arrived the day of the house fire from the postal service. Soon after that I spent a lot of time learning how to play music. I stopped around age 12 for a year or so due to growing bored with taking lessons only learning songs such as nursery rhymes. Then I found Marvin King, he began to teach me songs that I actually enjoyed. He told my mother " all a young boy wants to do is play rock and roll". Fast forward to 2015 I was 18 years old just graduated high school and moved out on my own to Bozeman Montana. I found a lot of downtime due to the harsh winters. I started taking music a lot more seriously and I began to write my own songs. I never really sang much growing up and I figured if I want to do something with my music for a living I better start trying. I wrote the majority of my songs out west and would eventually come back to South Carolina to start working on my first Ep "Southern Heat". I recorded the 7 song Ep self funding it and playing all the instruments such as guitar, banjo and piano. It released in late August of 2017. As of the start of the new year I have been going around playing live shows. I am currently in the process of finishing a new album in Nashville and I cannot wait to get it out to you folks.
